4 RACE WEEKEND!

California Families is pleased to announce a 4 race weekend in Orange County California.  Just minutes from Disneyland and many other attractions, this could make your holiday vacation complete by earning some points too!  We will have one double and one single All American Soap Box Derby Rally race each day.  Three racing divisions will be offered:

- Stock—Ages 7 to 13

- Super Stock—Ages 9 to 17

- Masters—Ages 10 to 20

Drivers must be the right age for their division on race day.  Race entry fees:

• $35 per race, $30 per race CFSBDA members
• CFSBDA memberships are due

SCHEDULE

The race dates are some of the shortest days of the year, therefore we must start early to complete the races.  The schedule is as follows:

• Track setup - begin at 6:00am
• Registration—opens at 7:00am, closes 8:45am  (Pre-register!)
• Weigh in—opens at 7:30am, closes at 9:00am
• Drivers meeting 9:00am
• Racing begins 9:30am

We reserve the right to alter race format based on weather and track conditions.

RULES

AASBD 2017-18 rules apply.  Official Z-glass wheels.  One or two AASBD wheel washers per wheel are allowed.  We will use a 4 wheel progressive swap and lane swap race format.  Please mark your wheels with the racer’s name and wheel location on car (RF, LF, RR, LR).  You will get your wheels back at the end of the day.  All protests against other entries must be lodged prior to the race beginning unless car is altered during race. Trophies will be awared for 1st—3rd place in each division.

NEW DRIVERS/CLUB CARS

A limited amount of cars are available to borrow.  Please contact the race director to register and reserve a car.

Races will be in the El Toro High School parking lot, at the corner of Ridge Route and Toledo Way, Lake Forest, California.  The lot used will be adjacent/parallel to Ridge Route.  Enter parking lot from Serrano Road.  Physical address:
