ANNUAL NEW HAMPSHIRE SOAP BOX DERBY SPRING RALLY WEEKEND - 2017

If your child is planning on racing in our rally and you do not use the Constant Contact registration and pay site could you please email us with child's name, age as of 5/6/2017, expected racing division (stock, super stock, or masters) to newhampshire@soapboxderby.org. Payment (cash or check) can be made at registration at the track.

Racers can register and pay for the event online at the Constant Contact site. (also see "Register Now" on the bottom of this page)

Race Date(s): May 6 & 7, 2017

Spectator Information

Time: Check-in closes at 8:00 am, First heat 9:00 am

Rain Date: n/a

Divisions: Stock (ages 7-13 yrs), Super Stock (ages 9-18 yrs.), Masters (ages 10-20 yrs)

Race Format:  Double Elimination, Single Elimination, both with Lane/Timer Swap; one each day

Wheel swap: 2-4-2 progressive on Saturday and 2-4-2 non-progressive on Sunday

Pre-Registration Fee 

$30 / contestant / race or $100 / contestant / weekend

$25 / $90 each additional family member

Race Day Registration Fee

$35 / contestant / race, $5 discount each additional family member

Setup: 2017 All-American Rules / Compliance Inspection / Wheel Swap, Z-Glass wheels for all divisions (driver supplied)

Race Location: New Hampshire Motor Speedway Loudon, NH.  The south enterance "5 lane highway" makes a great ~550 ft long track.

All families and spectators need to check in at the NH Motor Speedway main entrance security office for a wrist band. This in the only entrance to the track.  The race course is near the south entrance gate access road behind the Red Apple Shell Gas Station.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Lodging: A room block for Saturday May 6 has been reserved at the Quality Inn, 2 Staniels Road, Loudon, NH 03307, (603) 225-8399.  A room with two queen beds for $99.  Ask for "2017 Soap Box Derby" (Group Account 2912226).  Fixed cut off date is April 15, 2017.   

A paper version of the AASBD form and waiver will also be necessary when checking in on race day, see "Register Now" below. This can be filled out in advance and email to newhampshire@soapboxderby.org.  If the AASBD rally registration form and/or Parental Code of Conduct form are not sent to us in advance they will have to be filled out at registration at the track.
