The Sanford/Central Florida Soap Box Derby local championship race is coming up on May 20th. In preparation the cars need to be inspected and impounded per the AASBD rules. Inspections will take place at the track at Mike Kirby Park, 2199 Oregon Avenue, on May 13 & 14^th  from 8 am to 3 pm each day. Please plan to schedule about 30 minutes on either of those days to get your car inspected, weighed, and impounded at that time. If you are borrowing a car you will be fitted and weighed at that time to be ready for race day. Please RSVP with a time that works for you so that the appointments can be spread out to avoid everyone showing up at the same time.
