Rain date will be Sunday June 5. Track location is on Frontenac Road at Diehl Road in Naperville, IL. The Greater Chicago Soap Box Derby Association will be hosting an official All American Local Soap Box Derby Race on June 4, 2022. This is an exciting family fun event that you will not want to miss. we will be running stock, superstock, and masters. We have several cars available that are available, please let us know if you need to borrow a car to race. Next visit the following page to find out which division you will race in. June 4th, 2022 - Stock, Superstock, and Masters Divisions, 1 double elimination local race. Location of Track: Use google maps and search for "Chicago soap box derby rally race" Race day app. Chicago is the only race city with a website to track your racing times. You will need to download 2 registration forms and mail them in, racer profile form can be filled out online, they must be received 2 weeks before the race date. You can register up until race day. June 4 Race day schedule Local Race Day Schedule 6:30am Parents/car handlers and volunteers report for track set up 7:30am OTSC racers arrive and begin test runs 8am GCSBD Racers report to registration table for check in, photo, t-shirt, inspection, and weigh in. 8:30am National Anthem and Presentation of Champions 8:45am Drivers meeting 9:00am Begin of 2022 OTSC Local All American Soap Box Derby Race 9:30am Begin of 2022 GCSBD Local All American Soap Box Derby Race 2:00 Championship heats begin (Run off for top 4 places) 3:00pm Conclusion of Greater Chicago All American Soap Box Derby Local Race 3:00pm Begin tear down of track 3:30 Awards ceremony at Cerny Park at 4S150 River Rd, Warrenville, IL 60555 5:00 Completion of awards ceremony Schedule is tentative and will be changed as the race day progresses including inspection.
