BOYS & GIRLS  Ages 7 to 18

Perkasie’s All-American Soap Box Derby Race is June 1, 2024.

Ages 7 to 13 can race Stock Cars

Participants must be age 7 by the Perkasie race in 2024 (June 1, 2024) and may not exceed the age of 14 on or before July 31, 2024. The maximum weight for driver and car is 200 pounds. (Recommended not exceed 110 pounds and not to exceed 5’ 2”)

Ages 9 to 18 can race Super Stock Cars.

Participants must be age 9 by July 31, 2024 and may not exceed the age of 19 on or before July 31, 2024.  The maximum weight for driver and car is 240 pounds. (Recommended not exceed 160 pounds and not to exceed 6’ 0”)

Once you decide, you would get the car to practice with at your leisure, so you'll need a vehicle like an SUV, van, truck, etc.. (cars are approx. 3' wide x 6' long). Race day is Saturday, June 1st. We also have a practice day a few weeks before the race where we close 9th street for most of the day.
