NewsSoap Box Derby Champion Cayson Hayes will appear on "Live with Kelly and Ryan" on Wednesday, August 208.01.2017Cayson Hayes winning local Stock Division Nine-year-old Cayson Hayes of Summerville, S,C., who won the world championship title in the local Stock division in the First Energy All-American Soap Box Derby here on July 22, will be a guest on the nationally syndicated television program “Live with Kelly and Ryan” on Wednesday, Aug. 2. Cayson and his family are traveling to New York City, where he and his winning racecar will appear in a segment with host Ryan Seacrest and guest co-host Carrie Ann Inaba, a judge on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Program co-host Kelly Ripa is on vacation this week. Cayson and the program’s hosts are expected to race in Soap Box Derby cars on temporary ramps on the sidewalk outside the WABC-TV studio. In Northeast Ohio, “Live” is broadcast on Cleveland’s WEWS-TV at 9:00 a.m. Because the program is syndicated, broadcast times vary by market so check local listings.
