“The Derby is grateful for the partnership we have developed with Northern Ohio Golf Charities & Foundation. Adding this golf cart to our shuttle routes will allow us to provide great customer service for our guests and meaningful experiences for the Akron community to enjoy,” stated President and CEO Mark Gerberich.

“With the expanding number of participants and events hosted at Derby Downs, we need additional transportation options for mobility-challenged guests at the track. Some guests have disabilities, while others are simply challenged by the distance or steepness of our grounds. This multi-passenger golf cart will work in conjunction with the shuttle bus, provided by Northern Ohio Golf Charities & Foundation in 2014, to transport guests between the parking lots, the entry gate, and the Hall of Fame and Museum building,” stated Events Director Morgan Garner.
