Girls Scouts Racing to STEM Workshop gives young ladies the chance to explore and discover different aspects of STEM during exciting activities – including a test drive down the world-famous, 989.4 foot Derby Downs Track in Akron, Ohio! Enjoy these activities:

Age Levels: Junior, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador

Visit the Soap Box Derby Museum to explore and discover different aspects of STEM. Not only will you learn build, test, and compete in a mini soap box derby car race, but you’ll test drive a Soap Box Derby car on the track, navigate Derby Downs in search of historic sites, learn more about STEM careers from guest speakers from the Timken Company, earn a special edition patch, and more!
