2026 Senior Day this september
Senior Day is one of our most popular events – an annual fall fest at Derby Downs for the young at heart. The day includes a ride down the hill, a senior wellness expo, lunch and live entertainment! Come spend a lovely September day with us, whether it’s your first time down the track or you’re a veteran driver!

Calling All Seniors with a Need for Speed
In addition to enjoying races down the Derby Downs track, guests will have the opportunity to explore the Aging on Track Senior Expo and the Soap Box Derby Hall of Fame and Museum Building. There will be live entertainment and a catered boxed lunch.
Rides Down the Hill: 10 AM – 2 PM
Lunch Served at Pavilion: 10:30 AM – 1 PM
Aging on Track Senior Expo: 10 AM – 2 PM
Weather Policy
Our weather policy: Soap Box Derby events will take place in the rain if there is no lightning or standing water on the track. In the event of a cancellation, we will share that information via email, on this page, Facebook and EventBrite.
