Front Range Sertoma Clubs
We have fantastic support from the Front Range Sertoma Clubs and specifically from the Sertoma Promotions Club. Without their ongoing financial and personal support of time, and personal and financial commitment, this would not be possible! They are our title sponsor, financial backer and provider of volunteers and many of the cars that were raced. The SMHSBD committee is made of club representatives who work year round to make this program happen with fundraisers, public programs, parades, and the races themselves. Our event is very complicated in nature to ensure that we have the best competition and fairness, in a sport that is separated by mere inches and is possible only by a lot of hard work for the competitors, families, volunteers, supporters, sponsors, and community. They allow us to put on 3 race weekends a year to get families involved in this worthwhile sport.
Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department
We are very gracious to have the support of the Arapahoe County Sheriff, Dave Walcher, Under Sheriff Louie Perea, Chief Vince Line, Supervisor Ed Krauss, and Crew Supervisor Bob French and his Crew that provide all of the bottom of the hill support with back breaking labor as well as access to the facility, car storage, and their community support. This is a true blessing! The Sherriff’s Department coordinates with us as the season goes on and were with us all weekend and at every Rally race to help and support in countless ways and we cannot thank them enough for being such a large part of the program and the community! We thank you for helping us make this facility our home and believing in all of the good that this pram has to offer the community! We appreciate the behind the scenes support and your presence at our event.
Facility at the Fairgrounds
We have an excellent race facility provided by our support from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department and the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds personnel. We are extremely lucky to have a place like the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds to race and provide our families with an enjoyable environment to watch their kids compete. Although this is not a permanent facility, these people have done everything they can to make it every bit as good as any facility in the country! Special thanks to Matt Bixenman and Stephanie Graham and staff for providing us with the area, bleachers, tables, timing building and clean facilities! They are a great bunch to work with and are a major part of our success! We had the full support of both staffs to ensure that this weekend was about our kids and our cause, and for that we are grateful!
